The ground rules
Terms of Service
What this referral service does, who is responsible for the plumbing work, and how pricing, warranties and disputes are handled.
Last updated: August 27, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and of the referral service reached through the phone number published on it. By using the site or calling the dispatch line, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What this service is, and what it is not
Garden Grove CA Plumbing Works is a referral service. We take your call, work out what the problem is likely to be, and connect you with an independent plumbing professional who covers your area. We do not perform plumbing work. We are not a licensed plumbing contractor, we do not employ the plumbers we refer, and we do not supervise, direct or control how they carry out a job.
Your relationship with the contractor
Any agreement for plumbing work is between you and the contractor. They set their own price, provide their own materials, tools, insurance and licensing, control their own methods and schedule, and are solely responsible for the work they perform and for anyone they bring with them. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between us and any contractor, and no contractor has authority to make promises on our behalf.
Estimates, pricing and payment
Prices quoted for a job come from the contractor, not from us. We do not set, guarantee or collect them. Any figures, ranges or examples given on the phone or on this website are general orientation only; the binding number is the one the contractor quotes you for your specific job before starting, and you approve. Payment is made directly to the contractor on the terms they give you.
Warranties on the work
Workmanship and parts warranties are given by the contractor who performed the work, on their own terms. We do not provide, extend, insure or guarantee those warranties. If something goes wrong with completed work, raise it with that contractor first; tell us as well, because it affects who we continue to refer.
Emergencies and safety
This service is not an emergency response agency. If there is a gas smell, fire, sewage flooding, a risk of electrocution or any threat to life or property, leave the building and call 911 or your gas or water utility before you call us. Nothing on this site is a substitute for that. Information on this website about shutting off a main, isolating a water heater or handling a leak is general guidance, not instruction for your specific property, and you use it at your own risk.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information about the property and the problem, because the dispatch decision depends on it. Make sure you have the authority to authorize work at the address, whether as owner, manager or with the owner permission. Provide safe and lawful access for the contractor. Disclose known hazards, such as asbestos, sewage contamination or unstable structure, before work begins. Where an HOA, landlord or association owns part of the plumbing, obtaining their consent is your responsibility.
Permits and licensing
Certain work in Garden Grove requires a permit and inspection, including water heater replacement, repiping, sewer replacement, gas line additions and ADU plumbing. Permits are pulled by the contractor performing the work as part of the job. We do not file permits and we do not verify inspections. Ask your contractor for their California license number and permit details for your job; you are entitled to them.
Website content
The service, area and how-to content on this site is written for general education about plumbing in this region. It is not a professional diagnosis of your property, and no diagnosis can be made without someone looking at the plumbing. Building stock generalizations, typical failure patterns and timeframes are approximate. Arrival windows described anywhere on this site are estimates that depend on time of day, weather, traffic and contractor availability, and are not guarantees.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, design, logos and photographs on this site belong to Garden Grove CA Plumbing Works or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. Copying the content to build a competing site, scraping it in bulk, or reusing the branding is not permitted without written consent.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site or the dispatch line to make false service requests, harass staff or contractors, interfere with the operation of the site, attempt unauthorized access, or scrape data at volume. We may decline or discontinue a referral for any lawful reason, including abusive conduct toward a contractor.
Third-party links
Links to city departments, utilities, manufacturers and other resources are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The website and the referral service are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any particular contractor will be available, or that any referral will produce a particular outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Garden Grove CA Plumbing Works is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for property damage, loss of use, lost income or additional repair cost arising out of work performed by an independent contractor. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the referral service is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Garden Grove CA Plumbing Works from claims, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from information you gave us that was inaccurate, from work you authorized without the right to authorize it, or from your breach of these terms.
Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, call us first; most issues are resolved in one conversation, and we ask for thirty days to try. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts serving Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally. A dispute about the plumbing work itself is between you and the contractor.
Changes
We may update these terms, and the current version is always the one posted here with its last-updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. We may also change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site or the service.
General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding this website and the referral service. We may assign these terms in connection with a transfer of the business.
